Hello, I’m Ana. I was born in Madrid and live in London, though I also grew up between France, Italy, Germany and Scotland, which has shaped the way I see and work. I’m an artist and an architect, but I’m more interested in the mix of disciplines.
I like to start my projects digitally, sometimes drawing by hand on an iPad, other times modelling in 3D. But my favourite part comes later, when I translate those ideas into the physical world. I started with giclée prints and moved on to traditional printmaking: drypoint, etching, aquatint; anything that let me shift images from screen to object, and study how they transform across mediums.
Currently, I spend half my time producing screen prints in the workshop. The other half, I work at a creative agency where I design immersive experiences and exhibition spaces for sports clubs, music artists, and cultural venues, as part of the team at Experience Studios.
Previously, I worked at Yinka Ilori Studio, creating sculptural installations and decorative objects for clients including MoMA, Meta, and the Brit Awards. I studied at The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) and later trained at The Royal Drawing School, in London. My work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts (London) and at La Galleria Nazionale (Rome).

From the essay “Redesigning Ghosts” by Paula Vilaplana, in Cosmowomen: Places as Constellations — “Instead of assuming pop as a totalizing medium, Ana infiltrates its layers and appropriates its tools to create new and liberating visions. She understands the game and reworks the rules, marking the beginning of a new era for women in architecture.”
